Burger Hunch is one of the most famous burger restaurants in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This new project aims to design a drive-thru restaurant to become an unexpected hit. Burger Hunch drive-thru is located at a plaza in Al Kharj City, where many independent restaurants and boutiques surround the restaurant. However, Morph Studios decided to design a unique facade using steel and bricks to shape the restaurant’s identity. That facade represents many ideas, firstly, the restaurant’s method of making the burger is by using a brick grill to cook the meat. then, the metal part of the facade reconstructs the logo of Burger Hunch on a large scale to attract the customers’ eyes from afar. The orange color was selected to emphasize the identity of Burger Hunch and to match the color of the bricks used in the facade. at the drive-thru ordering window, we can see clearly that our designer has shifted the wall back to create that telescopic shape which made a space for the screen and the show of the burger cooking. For the interior, we used the rough, industrial style, using concrete finish for walls and floors, bricks, and natural wood for tables and countertops. The metal ceiling adds more roughness to the design and hides all the electromechanical services above. The first floor was designed with folding windows that turn the space into a panoramic terrace in the winter, when the low temperatures make the atmosphere of the restaurant so dreamy and lovely. Also, the customers will enjoy the show of the burger meat process, which was provided by the large window that attaches the restaurant hall to the kitchen area.
